Craig Fair is President and cofounder of Behavioral Management Solutions, Inc. with more than 20 years experience working in the behavioral healthcare industry. He has extensive knowledge in the financial implementation of reimbursement models including behavioral healthcare operational systems for case rate models, retrospective fee-for-service models, and hybrid models that include prepayment with encounter and outcome reporting to earn funds. The core of Craig’s expertise comes from working at a provider organization for more than 10 years and developing these skills first hand. Craig has a solid understanding of management information system requirements for meeting current industry standards. Along with his co-author Diane Bell, he has published: “Realizing Your Viability – Tenets of a Successful Agency” which identifies key components of a successful organization with practical approaches and sample tools from work in the field.
Diane Bell is the Chief Financial Officer and cofounder of Behavioral Management Solutions, Inc. with more than 19 years of professional experience in the behavioral healthcare field. She has extensive experience in developing fiscal management systems and on-line cost of service systems. Diane worked for 9 years at Helen Ross McNabb Center in Knoxville, Tennessee where she was an integral part of the Executive Team as their Accounting Manager and later their Fiscal Officer. She has extensive experience in understanding and developing strategies for organizations based on their payer sources and maximizing funding streams. She has proven experience in budget development around “right-sizing” organizations when funding is reduced or changed dramatically.
